Description Stefan Sauer 2007-01-29 17:36:35 UTC
epiphany crashes when printing. It doesn't matter wheter one prints to printer or to file. This bug had been previously files upstream as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388698.

As I could not install a debug symbol package from opensuse repositories, I can't produce a better backtrace.
Comment 1 Stefan Sauer 2007-01-29 18:29:06 UTC
found the repository and installed plenty of debuginfo packages. Added new backtraces in gnome-bugzilla. Unfortunately they are still not very useful.
Comment 2 Stefan Sauer 2007-01-29 19:33:33 UTC
According to gnome-bugzilla: "Gecko bug with new fontconfig versions."
Comment 3 Reinout van Schouwen 2007-01-30 08:10:29 UTC
Please refer to upstream bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=294879 , there is no xulrunner release with the fix for this yet.
Comment 4 Reinout van Schouwen 2007-03-29 09:21:25 UTC
We keep getting useless crash reports on GNOME bugzilla about this. Not only for Epiphany but also for Yelp. Could Novell please issue a fix? Pretty please?
Comment 5 Stefan Sauer 2007-07-11 16:07:54 UTC
Sorry for raising the priority and Severity. This is not only anoying. Since January this year openSuse users have to live with a browser that cannot print. Please could someone of the openSUSE developers comment on this. If you need help, please ask for it. But lets fix it in openSUSE 10.2 and not ask people to wait for 10.3.

Fixed in STABLE/Factory. Assigning to myself to look at fixing it in 10.2.
Comment 11 Michael Wolf 2007-08-22 20:15:34 UTC
I have an updated package for 10.2 ready.

Anja, could I get a SWAMP ID please? It's only needed for 10.2.
Comment 12 Stefan Sauer 2007-08-22 20:19:08 UTC
Many thanks for taking care of it!
